Business Model

An online business offers a unique opportunity to run a low cost business.
We do not have a physical location, thus 99% of our business is done online.
Thanks to ebay we have an easily accessible store that can be reached by millions.
While the majority of our sales come from ebay, we also run a website that is beginning to generate a growing amount of traffic.

To simplify the process: We buy demo and new skis at a low cost, affording us the opportuinty to generally be the lowest cost provider online. After cleaning and carefully inspecting the skis, we take detailed pictures of each and every ski (example). Once the pictues are modified, we compose a detailed description of the condition of each ski and list the skis on ebay either as "buy it now" or auction and our website. Once a ski is purchased we have the ski shipped out within one to two business days.

It's a pretty simple yet effective business model for the company and that's how we like it. We generate a continous flow of revenue without working crazy hours. I often joke with Jordan about how much more business we could generate if we did not spend so much time training, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Training

I finished my 3rd week back to training. Most of my runs were slow 9 to 12 milers in the foothills. Today I only ran 51 minutes at Mount Galbraith. I was pretty sore from kickball and running Green Mountain the previous day. Looking to run 80 to 90 miles next week. Being optimistic.
